Questions to ask before removing a shed pad
Confirm what the shed sits on before asking for pad removal. A timber floor, pavers, and poured concrete do not call for the same plan.
Identify the base
Photograph exposed edges and measure the footprint. If a pad is concrete, a visible edge may help show its thickness, though hidden conditions still need assessment.
Check what is nearby
Locate irrigation, electrical lines, drains, fences, and landscaping near the base. Do not break or excavate around utilities without a proper assessment.
Define the finish
Ask whether the quote covers hauling fragments, leveling, and the final surface. Agree on what the area should look like after the pad is gone.
